The Collaborative Dance Lab, Bul Ki Myel dance festival 2026
We are delighted to open door to 8 dance artists to participate in a 2 weeks guided residency with artist Akeim Toussaint Buck @toussainttomove as part of the collaborative Dance Lab, a framework within Bul Ki Myel dance festival 2026, a framework that invites artists whose work interrogate resilience, be it emotionally, culturally, communally or physically, to exchange knowledge, build capacity and co-create an original performative work with community dancers of Northern Uganda, with lived experience of conflict, displacement and recovery both as first, second or following generation, building a work that shall premier at the Bul Ki Myel dance festival 2026..
