About the event


The Gulu Unified 5K Race 2026 is Northern Uganda's premier inclusive community race, bringing together persons with and without disabilities to run, walk, and wheel side by side in celebration of inclusion, dignity, and equal opportunity.


Organized by Ability Sports Africa (ASA) in partnership with AdaptX USA, the race is more than a sporting event—it's a movement that champions inclusion, breaks barriers, and creates opportunities for children and youth with disabilities.


Every registration, every participant, and every donation helps provide scholastic materials, assistive learning devices, and improved school accessibility for hundreds of children with disabilities in Northern Uganda.
